William Ryan Kurczak was born on July 6th in the year of 1979 to William and Paula Kurczak. He began his life in Fairmont, West Virginia where he also was raised and went to school. Ryan went to Jayenne Elementary School, Dunbar Middle School and Miller Middle School. He graduated from East Fairmont High School in 1997. Ryan graduated from Fairmont State University in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and minor in Philosophy.
After college, Ryan attended the Mountain State School of Massage, and completed training with The American Institute of Vedic Studies and the European Institute of Vedic Studies in the subjects of Ayurveda and Jyotish.
Ryan Kurczak is a talented, self-taught guitar player with a heavy Led Zeppelin influence. He played in the Zeppelin tribute band For the Love of Zeppelin. Additionally, Ryan has been an active volunteer, involved with organizations such as Americorp.
Ryan and his wife Melissa currently reside in Asheville, NC. In Asheville, Ryan works in the field of self improvement and personal growth. He offers EFT, the Yuen Method, spiritual counseling, spiritual healing, massage therapy and craniosacral therapy.
Ryan Kurczak has certifications or has been trained in Kettlebell, Reiki, Prana Healing, CranioSacral Therapy, EFT, Polarity, Qi Gongm, Meditation
and Massage Therapy.
In August of 2000 Ryan Kurczak first met his spiritual teacher Roy Eugene Davis and was initiated into the soul liberating practice of Kriya Yoga. Although for many years prior Ryan had studied metaphysics and yoga philosophy, It was the rediscovery of his connection with the Kriya Yoga tradition that the experience of Self- realization became tangible.
And so, after being graduated from college with a degree in psychology and philosophy, three months after his initiation, Ryan Kurczak decided to broaden his spiritual education by exploring related Vedic sciences. In the years that followed, Ryan completed training with The American Institute of Vedic Studies and the European Institute of Vedic Studies in the subjects of Ayurveda and Jyotish astrology.
In 2005, Ryan was ordained as a Center for Spiritual Awareness minister and authorized to teach in the Kriya Yoga tradition.
From Ryan’s first encounter with Roy Eugene Davis and the methods of Kriya Yoga, Ryan Kurczak committed to intensive study and practice that has not wavered as the years have passed. Now it is his duty and joy to share the enlightening theory and practice of Kriya Yoga with all who are sincerely interested in awakening to fully unqualified spiritual freedom.
